Subcommittees | Charges

Each subcommittee is tasked with providing a report (see template) by June to the RCM Review Committee.

Graduate:

  • Evaluate the graduate portion of RCM
  • Make recommendations to the RCM Review Committee

Taxes:

  • Review the recommendations from the original RCM Tax Subcommittee, the current RCM approach, concerns of campus constituents that have been shared with the RCM Review Committee
  • Make recommendations to the RCM Review Committee

Space:

  • Review the recommendations from the original RCM Space Subcommittee, the current RCM approach, concerns of campus constituents that have been shared with the RCM Review Committee
  • Make recommendations to the RCM Review Committee for changes based on the review

Program Fees:

  • Review recommendations from the original RCM Program Fee & Differential Tuition Subcommittee, the current RCM approach, concerns of campus constituents that have shared with RCM Review Committee
  • Make recommendations to the RCM Review Committee based on the review.

RCU Implementations:

  • Assess what is happening at the college level, how it is working, and how it can be improved
  • Make recommendations to the RCM Review Committee based on the review

Communication & Wavelength Issues:

  • Communications: How do we build better (more clear, relevant, easy to use) conduits back-and-forth between RCU centers and their reporting units?
  • Perceptions: What do people really think about RCM? Is there common perception among people with common job functions, in specific colleges, or by other demographic groupings that may teach us how to do more effective communicating?
  • Metrics: What data, in what form, facilitates budget (RCM+budget policy) understanding? [As example, the New York Times’ dramatic improvement in data graphics in the past 2 years.]
